Alfred Enderby in Grimsby is one of the oldest independent traditional fish smoking firms left in England. Specialising in Haddock and Salmon.

Years of tradition have carefully refined our cold smoking method, using hand crafted skills passed down through generations. Our PGI status ensures high standards, guaranteeing a quality product and taste that simply cannot be  recreated through modern electrical kilns.

Our Dry Cured Traditional Smoked Salmon is naturally smoked the traditional way, over slowly smouldering wood shavings.

Unlike most smoke houses who smoke for 8hrs, we smoke our fish for a minimum of 12hrs (usually 16hrs), as it produces the best flavour and we are all about achieving the most delicious smoked fish possible.

We don't inject it with any smoke flavourings or water, we let nature and time create the wonderful flavour of our award winning smoked fish.

Traditional Hand Sliced Smoked Salmon, naturally smoked the traditional way in our 100-year-old brick smokehouses in Grimsby and Salmon sourced from carefully selected farms in Scotland.

We provide Next-Day Delivery except Sundays and Public Holidays | Cutoff time: 11:59PM
Example: If you place an order on 1st July Monday 11:30PM, your order will be processed on 2nd July Tuesday morning, and will be dispatched in the afternoon. Customers can expect their orders to arrive between 2:00PM and 9:00PM.

On the rare occasion that we exceed 9:00PM to make the delivery, customers will be informed.
