The geographical indication “TREVENEZIE” includes the Veneto region, the Friuli Venezia-Giulia region and the province of Trento. It owes its name to “Tre Venezie” or to “Le Venezie”, a term which still today identifies this territory with a very ancient history and enological tradition. Sauvignon, one of the varieties allowed by this IGT, is an international white grape variety among the most cultivated in the world. It has a great variety of aromatic components that are expressed in different ways depending on the soils and climates where it is grown.
